About Andrea's Vintage Escada Boutique

I Knew I Had To Have It

For 19 years I maintained my position in the top 10% of Escada sales associates in the USA.

Obviously, I loved my position and I fell in love with the merchandise as I worked with my clients. I found myself obsessing over a garment or accessory and then . . . “I knew I had to have it”. Eventually I had to sneak my purchases into my home so that my husband would not witness my ongoing insanity.

As it turned out over the many years working, not only did I become one of my own best customers, I also became a major customer in the Boston store. Unfortunately for me, I spent too many hours working and commuting to Boston and never had an opportunity to wear most of what I purchased. In many cases I would try a garment on and then return it to the closet for future wear that never happened.

When we moved to our new home in California 12 years ago, I included my inventory of over 1900 pieces to its final resting place. Since there is limited closet space left in our home, my husband has demanded a little space for his meager inventory of clothes. He presently has less than 10% of the total available closet space.  I have now created this web site to try and move my fantastic collection of Vintage clothing and to give my husband some breathing room.

As the description states on this site, some of the clothes are brand new with tags. Many are new without the original tags. And hundreds of pieces of clothing have been worn only once. Whatever item you purchase from me will be in mint or near mint condition.

Sincerely,
Andrea
